The purples look the same... I guess it's whether the look the same IRL and if the difference bothers you. For Facebook or whatever the kids are using these days I'm sure you can use MS Paint to make the tones match.

I would sand down with fine sand paper and then re-lacquer, if you can get a decent match with vinyl though could work.

You could try that black 3m reflective sticker stuff to cover the red bits. Then night time tron effects. I have some stuck to my black hemet and you cant notice it until a headlight hits it.
