maybe he should ride it slammed for a while before cutting the steerer. also, saddle seems to be angled a bit forward in the pic, worth checking that as well when messing with the fit.

You are right .dropped the stem down 25mm .for now and by the time he gets a 700mm flat bar it should feel nice.any Recommendations on a 700mm bar.

If you want to keep costs down, have a look at "Wake" branded ones from eBay. I had some that came in 720mm width and were decent.

I'm usually not a Mash fanboy but that looks insanely good.
Do you have a link/source for the build? -
• #1642
it's a nodder bike with mash written on it and some fancy parts

Hello valued customer!!! I hope your mate likes the bars, I have some metal wellgo pedals he can have for a couple of quid if he wants, they are white though, so that might be a drawback

Built this last summer, but absolutely hated the way it rode - initially I thought it was just because it was a dad bike. But then after a month or two I noticed the frame was cracked nearly all the way round the seat tube by the BB. This was after I'd paid for the new paintjob obviously...

that's irritating! what's the frame? could you source another one and swap all the bits over?
annoying that the paint shop didn't notice the crack... -
