Still struggling a little for options. The Sony HX60 or Panasonic TZ60 are possibles but not exactly what I was looking for.

I did one of these in 2013: http://www.photographycourselondon.com/
I can recommend it based on your criteria. They're in Old Street, just down the road from Angel.

Magazines still exist? Maybe I will get that one, can't wait to read another City Guide of coffee shops, midcentury furniture shops and organic bakers written by some upper middle class white guy! Actually, hold on...

$6.500 spare, not knowing what to do with it?
Leica M10 is out!
As is the digital medium format Fujifilm GFX 50S. -

Balls, reply from sony that my rx100 repair could be very expensive if it doesnt turn on at all after a harsh drop.
A6300? Mark 4? Or just get another 3?
Im thinking of sticking with rx100, as i sold my x pro1 because it was too big and i never took it anywhere

so jealous, buy me an M10!

Where would you rate the Minilux, against all the others?
-
• #296
Ha, I wish.. if I had that kind of money lying around I would..
..actually not sure what I'd do, buy a Mamiya 7, lots of film, and go on vacation probably. -

Maybe my least fave to be honest. The main issue for me is the view finder is unusably small and as a result focus is often off (I have thought I was focusing on the right bit but turns out not).
I do love the fill in flash on it though which works great fir a lot of shots... -

Good to know. It's the only one I haven't used, and a T3, which I would like, but way too expensive.

..also a new Fuji X100 ..jump from 16 to 24MP, nice.

Yeah. I've been resisting getting a black t3. 1k is too much for me.
Not 100% if this is the right place to ask, but I thought people might have some ideas...
I want to buy some sort of short photography course for someone as a present. Basically to help them improve but also to motivate / remind them to do it more often as a hobby than they currently do.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Somewhere easily accessible from Angel by foot or bus would be ideal.
Cheers.
