Tcha, I'm non on twatter, but RE all thse "one video of a sad xenophobic drunk doesn't prove an issue... for them I have this:
EU / UK national's rights still not guaranteed cos of the mood of the government stirred up with "sovereignty" and other nonsense [no, May's deal is not what they/I all have atm...the EU make a proposal, all the need it to sign it, but they don't accept the EJC ...]
And Amnesty reporting a serious issue with hate crimes
https://www.amnesty.org.uk/press-releases/hate-crime-uk-police-need-more-training-says-amnesty
But sure, that's all just people reporting hate crime more, and that makes it fine, the UK has no issues ;)
[not that I am full of proud of a million Wilders voters in my birth country, blergh...]

Free movement 'to end in March 2019'
The immigration minister says a new system will be ready in time for when the UK leaves the EU.

Nick Cohen can be tediously scathing about Labour, but I think there's a lot of good points in this piece
https://blogs.spectator.co.uk/2017/07/the-labour-left-and-tory-right-agree-on-brexit-why-dont-they-merge/ -

^ I've heard that view on remainers forums too, with Labour voters explaining the party may be open to change. They are so confusing...I've lost patience.
Poor greens left, pro EU, stepped aside for Labour in some constitutions, go no thanks and they're not even mentioned in the above article, it's like people think they don't exist :/

Quite a good article:
In particular, suggesting that the best outcome for the Tories might be:
A catastrophic and chaotic Brexit, which can be blamed to an ignorant British public on the supposed intransigence of Barnier, is likely to be an altogether more palatable prospect for Fox, Johnson and Davis than a protracted negotiation which provides as daily object lesson in the self-harming absurdity of Brexit.

Just before the referendum (and shared on here) Prof Dougan posted a lecture on youtube. Here's his review an hour later:
TL;DR He was about spot on. Here's his conclusion, doesn't seem any less likely to come to pass:
After all, Leave campaigners are in the process of becoming subject to a form of accountability they have never really had to experience before: the accountability of reality. The time has come when their fantasies have to find solutions to real problems; they have to negotiate with people who haven’t been conned into sharing their distorted worldview; they have to address challenges which they denied would ever even materialise.
But how will they respond? By welcoming the scrutiny? By admitting their mistakes? By apologising for their reckless risktaking? Of course. They’ll ignore, they’ll deny, they’ll blame everyone else except themselves – the internal saboteurs and the spiteful foreigners.

Some new YouGov research
https://yougov.co.uk/news/2017/08/01/britain-nation-brexit-extremists/
And one of the graphs has been annotated by the people of the internet
(To spell it out 'old' people don't care if jobs are lost as a result of Brexit because their own retired lifestyles will be wholly unaffected)

Unless the economy is so fucked the pensions triple lock is lost and they end up begging outside 'spoons.

this isn't news to anyone, though - shirely?
it's pretty standard for old cunts to protect the shit they have.
i'll say it again - ban the vote at retirement...

Weighted voting surely. As someone approaching 40 I feel that I should have less of a say than someone just starting in the world of work.
-
• #9117
Just read the whole thing.
Remain voters are a lot less happy to inflict damage on others...

All that survey means is that they don't believe there will be any downside. And they're cunts.

Read the thing though as it's an EU body examining this... A quick glance made me think its only about EU law facts as immigration isn't even on the list ;)

If it didn't have the 'This' in the headline it would possibly be perfect.

Did LOL,
Baby boomers, as a cohort, benefited from free education, generous welfare and cheap housing, then voted for parties which denied those things to their kids.
and
“Would you like your children to have a better life than yourselves?” You Gov asked them. And the reply came back: “Fuck 'em.”

The longer this goes on, the more the UK tears itself apart it seems.
Dunno if it's time to get my alufoil hat out and suspect they keep posting all this to keep us fighting to stay in power.
[not that as an EU national I'm suffering a bit from empathy wear-out]Or perhaps humans are suffering from flaws (me included) and now we realize how big the rot is.
[The comments on Dutch sites don't exactly always please me either...] -
