  • Ken Clarke asking for MPs to make their own decision and ignore the results from a marginal plebiscite.

  • Britain faces leaderless turmoil. But don’t worry, Boris is back from the cricket

  • I grew up in Romford, that wonderful hellhole where I literally ran for my life from racist cunts more times than I choose to remember. That was when I was a kid, at least once I grew into a teenager I learned how to stand my ground and fight back.

It's wonderful to see how Romford has wasted no time in regressing back to those days, pics of people shouting at anyone a bit too tanned and people openly wearing t-shirts with xenophobic statements. Like they had them printed waiting for the day of the results.

Of course I'm so pleased that my granddad is in queens hospital today on his deathbed so I've had to come to Romford, and I'm genuinely anxious about it. All day I've been glad that I'm in the relative safety of an NHS institution where the majority of people are likeminded and not ones to dole out abuse but being in the Elderly Receiving Unit I can't say the same for the other patients.

My African friend has had abuse shouted at her this weekend from a car driving past, another friend had to protect an Asian girl on the train from a group of men who were actually threatening.

    What has life become?

  • Maybe (indeed, almost certainly) I'm an idiot, but has anyone worked out what'd happen if MPs voted for or against Brexit in the commons based on what their constituencies voted overall? Would we be in or out?

  • Foreigners will be out sooner than what we think or hope, unless they have a "high profile" job.

  • Kelvin McKenzie, remorse? Nah mate.

  • Out. If you take a look at the voting maps, they broadly reflect constituency maps and the response would be the same.

  • Clegg just called for a general election.

  • Clegg just called for a general election.

  • To be fair, as a representative of the party most likely to take an utter shoeing, you could call him completely impartial.

  • Anybody wanting an early look at the UK position on leaving the EU,
just needs to check the bins in the public parks frequented by Oliver Letwin.

  • I did say 'or something'.

  • Aye, and I said what that something would be. We're an awesome team there, like Pinky and the Brain.

  • So pigfucker has confirmed to the house that he will not trigger Article 50. The decision to trigger Article 50 rests with the next PM.

  • The longer this gets left, the more difficult it's going to be.

  • This is why I've been playing with the demographics of it. At some point enough Leave voters will have died, and new Remain voters will have turned 18 to switch things round. I'm just not sure when that is yet. This is mostly as I've not yet got death rates piled in. Once I'm happy with it, I'll splash it here.

Mind you, I've just done the switch on the 7% of leave voters with buyers regret, and the 4% of remain voters who thing they've got it wrong, and that switches which way round things go.

  • Sterling to hit a two year low by the end of today and possibly a five year low by the end of this week.

Some analysts are whispering it could end up on par this summer. Might as well join the single currency and make things easier for everyone.

  • You need to factor in elderly voters moving to the right and others moving to the left in the face of growing racism on their high streets.

  • Are there any official statistics on voter turnout percentages other than the one posted earlier?

  • Are you talking raheem or GBP?
