Spoiler alert..
Doesn’t it all turn out ok for the avengers/remoaners in the film (on the whole)?

I've seen worse, but they do know Gina Millar and Baroness Hale used UK law, right?
-
• #25431
Think you need to be careful with your language there.
-

? Sorry, I am not sure what you refer to exactly.
They are using a poster with "supranationalism" and those court cases has exactly nothing to do with EU law.
As for "seeing worse" it is not exactly a complementary meme/poster and I'd not use it, or condone it, but since judges have been called "saboteurs/traitors..." by the media and there's been a litany of utterly horrible remarks made by Boris Johnson , this makes it almost innocent in comparison. Is that where your issue is?

Judges don’t use the law.
-
• #25434
Oooh, apply the law?
Bloody immigrants not speaking The Queen's English <--- :)

• #25435
In honesty not 100% of the best term with this field (I think it can vary depending on type of law) but it’s certainly better than use :-)

Ha, they had to make something good at some point, fling enough shit and all that.

I don't really get this--aren't The Avengers supposed to be the good guys? (I've never seen any of the films.)
Wouldn't it make more sense for the 'Brexit' Party to produce something with Farage and co. as the good guys?

But it sounds a bit like remoaners, and they've changed the names, lyin'man is pretty good and I like the littlw Bercow. Obviously avoid reading too much into it considering the type of person who made it.

Did Demos believe that a one-off "snap" referendum would somehow solve all the universe's problems by splitting the population roughly in half?

BBC calling Boris out on his bullshit on border checks.
And there is going to be a debate between him and Corbyn...if he's on bad form and the right questions are asked that may very well harm his chances. Only so much BS the swing voters can take.
-

They need to have a live fact check during the debates. Big klaxon when anyone lies. That would sort shit out.

So, the Canterbury Lib Dem candidate has stepped down to allow the incumbent and favourite, committed remainer Rosie Duffield, a best chance of defeating the Tories. With the full support of his local party. But Lib Dem central office has decided to override them and wants to impose a new candidate.
As I recall, there's an entirely reasonable person here just champing at the bit to explain how this is all Corbyn's fault. So just placing the marker for them.

A colleague recently moved house and is procrastinating about re-doing all the bills at the new address and I reminded her to register to vote, but she then said that she's not bothering as she only voted in the referendum and won't be doing so again - 'whats the point?'
I reminded her that one of her closes friends at work is an EU citizen and to think of her, and she told me I was fear mongering...
I now realise that I think I've met the only Tory/Brexit voter in the whole company so am completely torn as to whether bring it up again.
I wonder if the tories failure to 'get Brexit done' will disillusion more Tory/BXP voters.
Has this been resolved yet?
