First see if the tories have any chance of getting in locally, if they do, vote for whoever else is most likely to keep them out, if they don't, pick whoever actually represents you the best.

This tactical vote juggling is what's causing all this vote guilt already. Just vote for whoever you want and keep it moving.
-
• #17229
say what you will about the tories, the one thing that brings them together is an overwhelming desire to fuck over people who might be worse off than them. that's their single issue and that's why they keep winning elections.

That's the spirit!

If only what I wanted was on the ballot paper.

Vote for what other people need?

Check "other".

OK, so that's really going to calm down the NI border discussion eh... Belfast doesn't take that many goods, relatively and not sure how much you can smuggle on a ferry to Larne but this doesn't help.
Also take back control, of, em something.

Wouldn't voting tory extend austerity and kill more brexit voters?
-
• #17236
Meh, it's obviously not right, but the right thing to do in the system we're in. I'm "lucky" enough to live in a nailed on labour area so generally vote green. If it was less certain I'd be thinking about keeping the tories out more as "whoever I want" revolves much more about who I don't want than who I do from what is offered.

Maybe all voting should be negative, vote out whoever you dislike the most, whoever has the least hate gets through.

Thank God it isn't. :)

My primary policy would be everyone from the 'Owning your own home' thread being first up against the wall

Is that anyone who's ever posted in there, or just the main players?

I knew we should have voted for @greenhell

With his main manifesto commitment of square plates for all? Madness.

It's nonsense that Labour and Conservative are even remotely similar.
Even if they said and went for the exact same things in their manifestos the method they took to get there would yield wildly different realities.
The Tories are instituitionally cruel.
Fair point. They're all in this together
I'll vote grrreen as usual
