Update on the Veloflex Corsa Evo TLRs. 3rd one fitted on a shallower rear Farsports rim by hand and track pump. A decent amount of riding last week on everything from rough central France "roads" to beautifully smooth tarmac descents. 28s @ 60-70psi depending felt lovely; smooth and grippy. I can't believe what good value these are!

Anyone got any experience with Vittoria inserts? Came across them recently (I realise they've been out for a while) - am considering them for my gravel bike

Is it just me or does that photo look more like a render than real life?

Sudden air leakage from every spoke...
Must be tape that's come detached?

Must be tape that's come detached?
Could be blow-by at the valve hole

Any recommendations for an affordable sealant injector syringe?

The biggest from your local chemist . Any giant dealer will have those quart bottles lying around.

Meaning what? Air getting in under the tape when inflating?

A break in the seal where the valve passes through the tape. Doesn't have to be a tape failure.

Whatever it is you're going to have to pull it all apart to find out.

Is this a clever new valve design (as I originally thought) or have I not forced the valve in deeply enough (as I am beginning to suspect)

Got it, thanks!

I got one, never used it. I use one of the small bottles (designed to carry in seat pack) and use that. With the valve core out the tip just sites nicely inside the valve. Just top it up from a larger bottle each time.

New tape, much better. No leakage from spokes.
Is this right though?
Although there is a rubber ring underneath the black nut there is still a gap where you can see the valve, and I'm getting leaks at that point. (Bought secondhand so might not be correctly setup)
Will chuck more sealant inside unless there is a better suggestion.

Surely leakage prevention should be happening inside the rim

Valve not tight enough.

Meaning black nut needs to be done up more? I'm not sure that is possible.
This is the bane of my life currently (also muc off valves) What about lubing the inside of the valve with something that sealant doesn't stick to....would that work?
