LFGSS weekly photography challenge

Another forum does a monthly and a weekly challenge.

Perhaps we could go bi-weekly or monthly and have a weekly thread which isn't necessarily a comp.

it's good as is, but bi-weekly might be nice. would prob encourage more entries and better shots.

Personally I like the weekly format. Keeps up the pressure, stops people overthinking and agonising over their entries and lets instinct come to the fore. Feels more fun that way.

I'm also keen on the weekly format as it pushes me to find something interesting in uninteresting surroundings / routine.

Ye I'm loving the weekly format, keeps me on my toes. Id probably just end up leaving it to the last week even if i was given 2 weeks

What if we were to have 2 biweekly contests going at once? Finishing on alternating weekends. Means we have 2 weeks for each topic while also keeping up the tempo of a weekly contest. Might get a little confusing though?

Yeah, I totally agree actually. It will be nice to put together a compilation in a year's time as well.

Ha, not yet - just boning up on my technical drawing skills and freehand perspective stuff... convergence, curve-linea etc. Got a Scott Robertson How to Draw book for my b'day last month.

We could make a calendar of the winners, four per month. I'd buy that and give it to my family as Xmas pressies.

@mi7rennie - also noticed you've updated the first post with the categories - if you continue to do so might be nice to stick the winners names next to themes too as we go along.
