Several people got in touch, not just one person that marcom suspected and alleged, and all were pointing out that the joy in the photography challenge was being tainted by marcom trolling and a couple suspect vote rigging.

The external poll tool is nothing to do with me, and I cannot determine any rigging there. But it's definitely possible to vote rig as this site and the poll tool do not share integrated auth, and so it's trivial to go and register multiple accounts and do what was suspected. It's just rather... pointless.

I PM'd marcom to say: really... don't do that if you are doing that, and if you are doing that perhaps consider normalising it as the outcome of winning by rigging the poll is going to be a downer for all and if it turns out to be true I'll just ban as he's been banned before and should know better and this really isn't the spirit of things.

Marcom's reaction is to not reply, but instead to troll and to try and call out 1 person he suspects said something to me. Which is kinda pointless too, because as usual multiple people need to contact me for me to do anything and multiple people did.

Anyhow, it's dull. So I've just deleted his access token and blocked the only way to login with that account, effectively locking him out temporarily whilst he figures out how to be a decent human again.

Thanks Velocio. I've resisted replying to marcom's insinuations and insults as it gives him the attention for which he is so childishly desperate.
A few months ago I called out marcom for using old pics in this thread - cheating, essentially. Ever since he has had a grudge. marcom is big on grudges. So when I won last week he took the chance to imply that I had cheated by voting multiple times for myself. His spite and pettiness are already well known on the forum.
I think the only way to explain the number of votes his entry got this week is that he did what he accused me of doing - voting for himself over and over. In marcom's world this is him taking on authority and being a rebel. marcom's world is not anywhere an adult would want to live.
Hopefully he will never be allowed back in to this thread because he has shown himself time and time again to be untrustworthy.

I nearly did vote for him, chimney and passage were good representations of sexual organs. You know, semiotics as often used in pre-oversexualised film. He got plus points in my head for not putting up the obvious naked nun type image that you'd expect from him. But the lamp post ruins the shot.

That was my first thought re photo ....but its not a good example...and he has 13 points now...
