@mi7rennie I've been messing with the forms - you can look at the code from previous results. Its relatively easy. Famous last words....
however it would be much much easier to do on a laptop and i usually dont have access to one sunday night/ monday -
• #1504
@moocher @mi7rennie If someone's willing to show me what to do I'll happily take up the voting as well. I've got loads of free time/a lax office, easy access to various computers on Sunday evenings and Monday mornings, and I've got no little ones to look after either! I'm just currently clueless when it comes to Google Forms!

Ok, I've had a play and I think I might have got it.
Does this work? Can you vote as normal, and does everything look ok, hypothetically?
If some people could submit some test responses that'd be great...

Works for me
-
• #1508
that voting works for me too
-
• #1509
Ok, ok, this is promising.
Does link work as a public link to the result page?
Results: https://goo.gl/zOHlBp
And if it does, then I think the only thing is I don't know how to get the fancy pie chart that @MrDrem does...

• #1510
Also, five responses down and no love for poor Test 1...
-
• #1511
Test 3 is awesome. Subtle with a slight political edge...
-
• #1513
results link doesnt work for me....
-
• #1514
What is it saying? It just goes through to the correct place if I follow that link?
-
• #1515
your link went to the question for me.
my link works i think. -
• #1516
Ah yeah, you're right. Both links seem to end up at differently formatted response pages for me, but I wonder whether that's because I submitted an answer first so the question page automatically takes me to the results. Who knows, as long as everyone can find their way around then I think it should work!

Unless people are particularly keen I don't think there's much point in setting up a new form to re-vote for this week, so I think we should carry on with the list?
I'd be happy to cobble something together next week in the potential absence of @MrDrem though. It'll have none of his flair, but it'll do, hopefully?

• #1518
I vote to carry on with the list this week ☺
-
• #1519
Oh and I vote for weekly comps too
-
• #1520
Ditto.
-
• #1521
Grand.
Voting via the list until 10pm tomorrow then.
And then back to normal with the new theme from this week.

Hmm, not sure how I'd go about that. I'll quiz the grand master as/when he reappears.
This is a nice and clean alternative to lists. Good idea.
