As previously explained:

You're probably right that this news is available from other sites, too, so I should shop around.

This happened just round the corner from me, many drivers drive much too fast on the estate. Warning: The link contains graphic photos of a badly-injured child.

It's quite astonishing that the Elephant and Castle northern junction, which stopped being a roundabout some years ago, is still referred to as a roundabout in this article:
The crash doesn't even seem to have happened at that junction but in the dual carriageway connecting the northern and southern junctions.

A bad crash involving underage joyriders apparently losing control of the vehicle when challenged by police and attempting to flee:
Result: One person fighting for his life. I hope he makes it.

A victim of a police chase:
Clapham again.

This has been in a few other threads and is getting a lot of attention:
Not, strictly speaking, a crash, by the sound of it, but perhaps close enough in kind to other acts of aggression on the road.

My least favourite sort of crash at the moment is drivers crashing cars into pedestrians (or, in this case, café customers, with a little girl being killed:
The trauma is just unimaginable.
A few years ago, this was a comparatively rare type of crash. Oddly, emergency vehicles were involved in a disproportionate number of these incidents. Now, at least since the horrendous attack in Nice, there is always the suspicion that it may have been deliberate.
Edit: The story has been updated to say that the girl was 13, not 8 (although the URL remains the same).

Ben, that crash does involve a bike rider (this thread is meant for crashes that don't), and there's been quite a lot about it in the news thread.

Deliberate, but not terrorism. Wtf?

Oh:
The 39-year-old driver, who told police that he was suicidal

I'm really lost for words what looks like the most minor delay to a driver turned into severe life changing injury maybe even death for a stranger within a few moments. It's really scary.
The video in the link does show it and LBC does have an autoplay so hit stop asap if you don't want that.

Arrested for attempted murder and released on bail. How is that a thing?

Another crash in which a driver hits bystanders with his car, and the fact that he tried it twice suggests bizarre motives of whatever kind. It's reminiscent of the Sept-Sorts crash above. Sadly, a person died here, too:

Many will remember this heartbreaking crash:
I expect we'll still hear about this one for years to come as resultant proceedings drag on.
