It's quite astonishing that the Elephant and Castle northern junction, which stopped being a roundabout some years ago, is still referred to as a roundabout in this article:

The crash doesn't even seem to have happened at that junction but in the dual carriageway connecting the northern and southern junctions.

Not, strictly speaking, a crash, by the sound of it, but perhaps close enough in kind to other acts of aggression on the road.

My least favourite sort of crash at the moment is drivers crashing cars into pedestrians (or, in this case, café customers, with a little girl being killed:

The trauma is just unimaginable.

A few years ago, this was a comparatively rare type of crash. Oddly, emergency vehicles were involved in a disproportionate number of these incidents. Now, at least since the horrendous attack in Nice, there is always the suspicion that it may have been deliberate.

Another crash in which a driver hits bystanders with his car, and the fact that he tried it twice suggests bizarre motives of whatever kind. It's reminiscent of the Sept-Sorts crash above. Sadly, a person died here, too:
