Duell is the nuts. Drop stem and risers used to get quite a lot of ribbing in these parts BITD, but meh.

Looks great. So which bars are these, B260AA or the B220?
-
• #83
So good.

These are the 220s, freakin better that the 260s IMO. There are pics with each setup on the pedalroom page.

Bought this cuz it was cheap. Might switch beater frames. Gonna turn to cash the bits and bobs first (omnium, cinelli cockpit, blb/mavic wheelset) then see which frame sells faster.
Its strange how it look waaay better in real.

How much for Omniums? ;p
Always been a fan of your duell, mint bike.

The omnoms are reserved for a friend for now. In case he wont take em, I'll come up with a price. Oh and thanks :)

Fair do's!
Will be interesting to see what you do with the dosnoventa if you keep it!

Test ride. Hella light. But strange front clearance, no toe overlap at all. Kinda like it so far.

Wait, you're not selling the duel are you?!
-
• #91
No way. This is the 'beater' part of the thread.

phew

that front clearance is strange, even some of the other "crit bikes" have tighter front clearance than that haha. i'm guessing you paid nowhere near retail for it though?

^ HT angle is slacker than a regular track bike. Translates into better handling characteristics for regular road riding
-
• #95
Yeah that was the case with the cheeko, where I felt the same after riding steel track frames.

Sell the Cheeko, the Dosno'll be a nice beater!
-
• #97
After all the Dosnoventa is sold. Regretting it a bit, it was a bragain, but really could not use it as a beater, way too flashy to leave it locked up anywhere more than an hour or so (yaay eastern europe...)
So back on the Cheeko again. Its funny how huge the difference is. Right now its minimal, dropped the brake and the rack, tho its getting hotter day by day, and communting with a backpack is a pain in the ass. Swapped the suginos for s300's, and got a selle italia flite gel max. Lot better, but still not as comfy as the Specialized Power - which I am trying to scoop up.

I've decided to kill the cheeko's geo.
Cant wait to try the new setup, but I am just too soft for all the snow outside.-Merida s-presso fork
-Avid BB7 caliper
-some cheap 19mm wide double wall rim laced with a trinity hub
-44T chainring
