Kick ass build. I want something like this in 650 flavour and the new WTB Horizons.

time machine v2?

In some ways, probably a lot of ways - yes.
In other news, NEVER buy the Hylix 25.4 post, it's a total piece of shit - the clamping mechanism is the wrong size so doesn't work, and the post itself has just split on me.

I've given up and ordered a Thomson.

What about the Enve?
-
• #207
The zero setback 25.4mm Enve?
-
• #208
Hylix post seller responds "you can send it back and I'll exchange it", for a post I don't trust.
What options do I have here? I bought it on May 7th.

I have a zero set back Uno on the fatbike. Its not mad Heavy, and seems bloody well made for the Money.
Struggling to find 25.4 without setback though.

Like most things Cannondale, that's out of stock. I've ordered the Thomson now, albeit in silver (as that's all they had) which I am a little unsure about.

Interested to hear how you get on with the Thomson. I was warned it'd be too harsh, but can't help wanting matchy matchy stem/seatpost/bar combo.
-
• #213
I can paint the stem to match the frame, so that disrupts the matchy matchy aspect.
The Thomson does "just work", the creaks and pings that the old post was responsible for have now gone. I should have bought the Thomson in the first place tbh.

• #214
has this been mentioned yet?
-

Thomson are the Apple of the bike world.
Can't find a 25,4 in black though. Humph.

Never got to write it up here, but during the ride 100 this was definitely a bling bike and the photos doesn't justify how good this looks in person! kudos dammit!

I want a bling bike.

Tillquist, a danish TT guy that was making CNC mounts until two years ago!
-
• #221
Thanks
Shame he's stopped making them. It looks as though I may be stuck with a Barfly now.
-
• #222
I have two Tillquist mounts.
They are awesome.That is all.
-
• #223
I have four. One broke in half with no warning on Ride 100. That was unawesome.
-
• #224
serves you right for doing a sportive.

I blame all 3 of you for driving Tillquist insane and stopping production of the mounts.
Although it appears that 3T sell their own mounts now.
Yes, you can change up and down the cassette from either lever
