The BBInfinite hasn't creaked, groaned, slipped or moved at all.
I was sceptical, but the chainset is free running, stiff under load and I haven't experienced any trouble. Its is the first massively oversized carbon bb that I have ridden, and I must admit the power transfer is very impressive indeed.
Compared to what I understand can be a fairly problematic experience with the Campagnolo cups, the very slight weight penalty is absolutely worth it. The fact that the bearings are accurately parallel and stay that way in relation to each other, coupled with the tight tolerances and a little loctite means that the wavy washed and c clip really aren't necessary, despite my initial concerns.
I absolutely love this bike. Can't help but admire the R5 (which only saves 150g) and RCA (which saves a bit more - but oh the cost!), but frankly it is hard to justify. The R3 is lovely.
Since the original build I have changed the stem and seatpost to Fizik for a layback design and matching collar and cuffs and fitted an Arione 00 to save a little weight. Otherwise, it is as pictured, and all running marvellously. My earlier comments about how good the 2016 shifting is have been reinforced by putting in some decent mileage on the bike.
Just to conclude the new/old school theme, I am just having some Royce hubs built into Ambrosio Nemesis rims for the bike. I can't fault the Lightweights, and I will be keeping them, but I am intrigued to see how it will handle some of Surrey's crappiest roads with more forgiving wheels.

I chickened out in the end after reading horror stories about Campag cups walking around , and then someone posting on weight weenies about a bbinfinte being stuck in the frame. Went Rotor 3d+ for cranks on my Chorus equipped R2.
No problems with chain drops so far with the Chorus FD/Rotor chainrings, and like you love the shifting on the new Campag mechanical groupsAlso considering a set of Nemesis based wheels at some point
@solarider Also interested in your BBInfinite experiences. Considering Campag for a Cervelo
