Fair comment. Thought these matching Claud Butlers were quite nice.

The drilling was a little tricky mainly because I didn't have a vice, just resting them on a bench, but was happy with the end result. I did angle the drill a little, but mainly achieved the wide hole by drilling a larger hole then smaller next to it and joined the two by using a larger drill bit.

#ChintzyMcChintzface I've fitted suede sew-on grips! Don't worry though I've got a new bag from @jtrent90 to distract you.. For those interested the new grips feel much better.
Really wasn't getting on with the smooth leather so bought half a cow down Brick Lane and referenced the instructions that come with Velo Orange elkhide sewn-on grips.
Anyway I asked Jordan for a large rando bag with padded base that's inspired by the Gilles Berthoud ones...
Very impressed with the quality of the bag and the padded base seems like a good addition too.

It definitely reach to the point that a 650b conversion would look awesome, even without mudguard.

Totally agree Ed just not ready to ditch the current wheels after only getting them built recently. Just thinking even more in the future... any decent looking front rando racks that spring to mind for forks without eyelets?

Honestly, stick with what you have, the other one is the VO Constructeur front rack, it's half the weight of your rack, but work better if you can fit a decaleur to the rando bag, as this helped massively in keeping the bag in place.

I knew this was coming. The way the D-lock strap attaches to the seatstay bridge... much elegance. Yeah very happy with the bag, cheers babe.

I've just virtually secured that D-Lock in its holster and it was most ergonomically satisfying.

That particular one looks to be homemade
Not too sure if this is what you're after.
You ought to sue your charm school, Ed.
