Ha! I've just been having a conversation with @jtrent90 about his bags, good to get some confirmation on the quality!

I looked at the jagwire and agree with @JT that the red/red might be a bit clashy... Will have a think about contrasting otherwise might have to go boring. With full length cables it would be a shame not to be a bit flamboyant..

Go for black or grey.

Looks like a great project! What front light are you getting and are you having a rear too?

CYO premium is on my Xmas list... although I'd like to have one of those car brake style rears they are all rack mounted and I cant see myself having the rack mounted all the time so unless there is some way I can think of to jury rig it then I will stick to battery for now...

No idea how to wire up a dynamo light... there are BARE wires FFS! There is no doubt in my mind I will get the wires the wrong way around and blow the light first time out... luckily Bike 24 are pretty damn good and selling cheap at the moment...

Thought I'd get the whole thing squared away today but two annoyances.
1) Jag wire xl has plenty of brake housing for a fully enclosed run but not nearly enough gear cable.

2) don't have any disc brake mounts... Fail.

Waiting for wiggle order to arrive so I can get finished now... Otherwise pretty much all done. Decent @edscoble approved tyres will have to wait till I can afford them, in the meantime will be kojak-ing with a measley 35mm of rubber.

Cable housing look like it can be a little shorter, remember to set the barrier adjuster to the bottom so it'll give you more room to adjust without lengthening the cable too much.

35mm gonna look TINY.

Could you not run that cable on the drive side instead?

That's what I would do. Will look so much neater.

I can but the compressionless cable sort of bends outward of I run out drive side. I agree will look better, will have a play later.

Wheels laced and finally trued. Got the rims for cheap, 40 bucks for the pair. Problem was they aren't disc specific... No dramas though. Big fat felt tip.
