  • Will swing by this next week! :)

  • We had an excellent lunch there this afternoon.

  • Popped in this afternoon, on a cross-London jaunt,
to build up mespilus jr.'s stamina following his July appendictomy.

Made use of the indoor bike racks,
and had 2 bits of cake each, as we had a 25 mile ride to get home.

Kraftwerk, (Minimum Maximum Live at a guess) on the sound system
and live coverage of the Euro Track Championships on the screen.

Even got to meet Breso on the way in.
    9/10 would visit again.

  • Had my Allez dropped off there this morning for a gears service/cable check etc.

    Will report back later!

  • Will be popping in on Sunday for lunch

  • Picked up this evening - a world of difference to shifting (compared to what it was) with a very comprehensive walkthrough and advice from @Breso.

Great value too - I've been stung before for bar tape and was super refreshing for it all being sensibly priced along with labour.

I didn't eat anything, but that will change soon. Looking forward to you getting your licence!

  • Yeah, a licence would be great.

    BYO?

  • Thanks @se1derful, I hope you're enjoying it!

@Kat_Balou I'm afraid but we are closed on Sundays atm... I will notify here when we are going to extend our weekly opening!

John we could do "Bring your own booze" but it would be limited for private events... I'm pretty sure that without charging for corkage the situation could become a little uncontrollable :(

We will have two special guests at Tempo today, Elia Viviani and Elena Cecchini will come during the afternoon, but I don't have a specific time unfortunately.

  • Ha I was just kidding..

You would absolutely have to charge corkage or it wouldn't be fair on you guys.

    Enjoyed my lunch there Tuesday.

  • Ah Fair enough, will come on a Saturday next month when I've stopped working in the bar. Simon may still pop in tomorrow.

  • Fantastic work, Breso, missed this thread when you first posted it. I'll make sure to pass by soon.

Oh no, not with the forum, you wouldn't have to worry in the slightest.

  • Might see if I can drag anyone with me after the club ride tomorrow morning. Look out for some Islington jerseys, maybe.

  • Been meaning to pop in on my way to work as I ride past you every day...do you sell coffee by the bag?

  • Ah, so this is the place with the gent who would stand outside in the mornings pointing to the blackboard? Normally I'm passing at the wrong times of the day to have time to stop for coffee etc., but now I see that you offer wheelbuilding at such a good price, I may well make an exception in the near future. :-)

  • coffee is good and you don't have to remortgage the house to buy one either!

  • Many thanks to @breso for fitting me at such short notice and rebuilding my rear wheel. Great service and very friendly pricing too. Much recommended, will be back!

  • Popped in for the first time this afternoon on my way home from a wet and windy Herne Hill session. Had a big lunch and a few coffees for less than £12, food was good and the staff were lovely. Workshop looked great and the pink Pinarello that was in front of the counter is beaut! Will be visiting again.

Saw two fixie skidders in there too, one Cinelli Mash and a Dodici. On here? Hi!

  • Dropped in this morning on my way back from dropping my daughter at the school bus.
The man with some of my favorite forum bikes (all on display in the space) is now running London's best cycling cafe.
@Breso, A pleasure to meet you. Your genuine love of pretty bikes shines through.
Plenty of stuff on display to keep bike pervs interested.
Tasty and well prices sausage and egg muffin and great coffee.

  • We will be popping in for lunch today :)

  • Just popped in and had a very yummy beef cassoulet.

  • Where were you sitting? You should have told me you were here!
I'm glad to hear you liked the cassoulet ;)

Thanks as well to @7VEN and @CalAmor to pop it! See you soon!

  • I took my winter build in to be finished by @Breso and he did a fantastic job on the v brakes and gears to get her up and running. Ready next day and was very, very reasonably priced. Can't recommend enough, will be back soon to eat by the looks of the food reports above.

  • The tart we ate this morning was tasty.

  • I came in with Simon, @OneLessCardigan , we were sat by the window. The menu is great, really good value. Can't wait to come down and watch some races.
