the spray.bike stuff might have a bit better longevity, just remember to clear coat your frame a good few times.

montana gold is kinda pointlessly over spending for just painting a bike tbh. MTN 94 or Illuminarty are cheap and good

All of this paint chat may have been for nothing. After listing the OSCA I got this terrible feeling inside that I was making a huge mistake. So I think it's going to stay and instead I'm going to shift the Tommasini while I still have no attachment (haven't even seen it in person yet).

I'm going to steal the fork for my other Tom and sell it with the fork from the Bio Bike. The seat clamp on the Bio bike is fucked so I'm probably going to end up freecycling it off.

In other news I've booked my 2nd induction at LVV for the 25th 6pm. Not going to change anything from last time. Over the next week I'm going to practice riding brakeless without skidding so I can ride on the race wheels which saves lots of faffing

Tried out a new cockpit today. Glitter stem and Deda peiga bars. Felt really good. Comfortable, no problems stopping, I was able to track stand with them. They will stay for a bit.

I do need some bar tape though, any recommendations other then black?

Don't stop with just the glitter stem - paint the entire bars, cheaper than tape

I do think that blue would be nice though would want you to remain in the black and white bike club so go for the glitter champs. Plus it would be rad.

Glitter stem is indeed homemade :-)

Basically covered it in the clear nail varnish with get with the glitter in. Not going to lie, it looks fabulous in the sun

I'd like to use this setup on my stage 2 but I have a feeling that unless I find the cap for the top of the stem, they won't let me ride it...
