I would go 32/32. You wont notice any performance gains from aero/weight with lower spoke counts and theyd only go out of true faster. Especially if you weigh 90+kg.
Save low spoke counts for tarty carbon where the stiffness will be helped by the deep rim. Again, 32/32 will make your Zipps that little bit more special

finishing kit.
I love the look of Zipp Service course Beyond Black, but unfortunately I think the seatpost is too short. I'd like to keep them matching if possible. I also like the look of this era of 3T :
is there a matching seatpost that comes in a longer version? (400mm)
bikefit data says I need 270mm of exposed post on this bike, and as the Zipp is 330 but has 9cm minimum insertion that restricts me to 240mm. legs y u no 3cm shorter.

Nope. 340mm max on those 3T's.

this? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/use-sumo-carbon-400-seatpost/rp-prod8472?gs=1&gclid=Cj0KEQjw44exBRCu8vfS_bPEtNoBEiQACrt00wvF05rHMEKC1HERfehUHRcuylUUb-u5h8vj0GYDVFIaApZk8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds
no matching stem though, and it's a bit ugly -

Deda superleggera is aesthetically the nicest seatpost imo and v light. Not sure about length though

Fizik Cyrano R1 comes in 400mm and can be had for money off (got mine price matched by Wiggle to PBK I think). Has a matcha stem.

cheers will check it out

The Fizik finishing kit is really nice, better in real life too.

• #70
1cm longer bar reach (than the ones I was fit on) = 1cm shorter stem right?
-
• #71
Yeah I guess
-
• #72
Bull/chameleon/snake have different reach i thought, no?
-
• #73
Snake: Reach 85mm, Drop 140mm
Chameleon: Reach 85mm, Drop 135mm
Bull: Reach 80mm, 130mm -

Are you sure? 610mm of seat tube + 270mm of seat post + about 50mm of saddle gives you a 930mm saddle height. I find that very hard to believe!

The fizik kit it nice, but be prepared for an almost iridescent finish on the seatpost - my carbon frame is matte black and the seatpost almost glows on it as it is very highly polished / gloss. Very easy to set up with a saddle as it allows for accurate adjustment.
Saving for the matching stem so can't comment on that :)
I've built a bunch of wheels with Comps. Good mix of low price, weight and strength. Alpine's would only make your wheel stronger and make the difference to Zipps more noticeable
Hope/Comp/Belgiums would get my vote
