2.2" Maxxis Ikon on 25mm width rims; I wonder how wide they'll sit on the rim. Anyone know?

Anyone want a new set of Speshy Crossroads 650's in 1.9" (48mm) for £40 ono? They've got the total of about 20 miles on them as I used them whilst waiting for the Gravel kings to arrive.

I asked earlier in the thread about using mini Vs on a 650b conversion. Finally got around to mounting a tyre today and it looks like the CX9 will have plenty of room for 38c tyre and fender if I get the canti studs mounted as high as possible.

Anyone selling any 38c/1..5"ish tyres like Pasela / gravel king? Failing that, any recommendations for fairly utilitarian but not too heavy tyres beyond the above?

Schwable? They have Kojak in 35mm, I think they also have something in 38mm, can't check properly as I'm on the phone.

Oh yeah, marathon supreme looks good. Not mega cheap mind.

42mm tho, but it is faster than Pasela, and maybe Gravel King too, and weight at a very good 470g.

It's for the other half's bike, so budget is variable depending on how much she chooses to ride it. She's still getting used to the new handling and position, coming from an unwieldy Dawes shopper/tank so if she takes to it and starts riding this more I'll splash out.

I know Mavic has done some 36h ones of their XM719 but they're not affordable.
