okay, so I rode this through some of winter, there are quite a few changes id like to make as it's not quite perfect. Having another road bike that is perfect for me meant that whenever the roads were dry the CAAD10 got a spin instead.
Want to get it perfect so that it can do summer touring duties.
The main thing firstly is to sort the fit out, It currently gives me slight niggle in my right knee, so I need to spends a few hours dialing in the fit.
and then a couple of bits that bug me:
1- There is some loose filings/slag inside both the frame an fork, I only just noticed the frame when I stripped it down the other day and turned it upside down. Probably wont notice it again when built up but it bugs me. Any solutions?
2- Shimano 105 feels 'orrible, but will probably just stick with it but sram rival would be a welcome 'upgrade'
3- no power meter :( :(

Can't remember any steel frame I had/have that didn't have residue inside the tubes, or stays, that you only feel when frame is stripped and you move it upside down... doesn't matter if they were/are custom frame (to original owners mostly) or off the shelf frames.
Really think it's normal/common, and absolutely not a concern... I hope the experts on here will agree...
thinking of adding some fluro for winter viz, lbs has matching bar tape but that is probably a step far and I already have black tape
