Take off your front wheel and see if the end caps pull off the hub axle

Did they come with a couple plastic bags with bits?
-
• #8354
Got them second hand and nah, bits don’t pop off.
Older model I assume.

Meh, if you’re spending £800 on a frame then surely finding a second hand wheelset on here isn’t gonna be too much extra hassle/money

yeah, not to be that guy or too rude, but akisiums are quite a cheap entry level wheelset. definitely wouldn't let them stop you buying a frame you like

I've got Shimano RX now, with clutch. Do you guys leave it on or off? Or do people really change it depending on the terrain they'll be riding?
-
• #8359
On, always on.
-
• #8360
You switch it off to take the wheel out. Otherwise always on.

Turn it off at night in case the bike explodes while you sleep.

Leave mine off all the time, I just opened it up and tweaked the spring so it’s stiff enough with it off, even on the lightest setting when it’s on my shifting is poo.

Calling Kingpin the first full frame leaf spring system, Kingpin has just one pivot but manages to squeeze out up to 30mm of travel when measured at the seat. While most of the travel is only felt at the saddle when seated, the system does offer a true 10-12mm of travel measured at the rear axle.

Marketing shills and roadies; the enemy of bikes.
This post is about something few people hear but many need to. You are not an expert on bikes. You aren’t. No matter what you’ve convinced yourself of, you’re not. You make YouTube videos, you comment in forums, you go on lots of rides. Still, you really don’t know a lot about bikes.
I like this guy

TBH I'd ride that, it look like the stupid kind of fun.
