That’d be perfect! I was just hoping somebody had something slightly cheaper laying around that I could use to fill in the 6 week wait and not lose too much money.

I have an older (2015) used arkose fork I don't use. Not trough axle but just clears a wtb horizon.
Also not that much steerer and I am in Berlin.
Could send it over, you borrow it and then leave it at my friends in London when fairlight has the problem sorted?
I feel sorry for a nice manufacturer and someone who's not allowed to ride their bike. -

Bodz Im thinking of getting an Arkose fork (not for my Secan, for another bike)- you are welcome to borrow it whilst you wait for your replacement Cempa if that offsets my cost. I do need an uncut steerer though.

2019 D1.
I switched over a load of parts from another bike and I bought some new parts.
Needs some tinkering but it was much fun to ride on the Downs this weekend.

Soooo... looking to get a new frame. Just bought the Arkos a couple of posts up as per this threads recommendation and it's the right size (possibly my first ever bike to be so) and feels decent but as per @PhilDAS s' cyberbullying I can't unsee the welds and external cables so looking to swapping... any recommendations? Think I prefer steel, will want to run guards and racks for winter.

Haha don't make me feel bad. Ride the arkose

I literally cried all the way to work this morning.
Was dead fast though.
Tears streaming behind me.
(I wanted to check I liked this kinda of bike wit ha cheap purchase before losing all self control and going nuts). -

I can't unsee the welds
Go buy a steel bike then >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
-
• #7738
Don't, I've already considering it....
-
• #7739
That's literally what I am saying I want to do.
-
• #7740
Go on then!
-
• #7741
Then you'll be moaning the bike is heavy. I'd just ride the Arkose and spend the money in better wheels

Alternately you can do it like how Boardman hid their weld; filling it in.

Does anyone have an Arkose single speed, or Alfine they're looking to shift, either full bike or frameset?
-
• #7745
Give me a week or so and I'll have the frame above...
-
• #7746
Aye, singlespeed here to be shifted soon...

Kept me upright following a couple dutch cyclocross hitters downhill at 70kph.
Arkose fork is £200. 50mm offset / 400mm a-c, fits a 50mm tyre. ADK made.
