  • if your cranks allow and going 1x you could also consider direct mount chainrings

  • I can find zero (1) reviews on the Rose cross and gravel bikes. Any feelings, experiences on them?
The ROSE XEON CDX CROSS-2000 seems fun.

  • That's pretty nice! Is that a paul comp stem?

  • Exactly so

  • So I'm pretty much done tinkering.
I'd like to ride more now.
just awaiting a 700c wheelset from hunt, but I'm doubting if it will ever appear...

Train station courtesy of a very long day in theatre today (after a nice 30 miler this morning).

  • Found Hunt to be a bit of a pain as well. Informaton on their site is comprehensive enough you'd think they'd be capable of clarifying things on the phone. Nope. Non existent.
Quality of the wheels is second to none though.

You putting them on the 3t?

  • Yep. I do like the horizons, but the hunts should come with some tyres I like very much too, so we'll see.

  • Love those tyres... are they 42s?

    1. Glorious bouncy 47s.
  • The G-ones?

  • Yep. Love em. Such low rolling resistance. I've got them on a different set of rims but those wheels are a bit fancy for everyday use.

  • very long day in theatre today

An actor and a doctor, so talented H!

  • Not dissimilar skill sets!

  • Noice! Tempted to go back to 700 just so I can use them as well. I wish they came up a bit bigger than 38mm in 650, I'd be all over them like a rash.

  • Ah, 650B wheels then I take it

  • Yeah- it's strange- 38 or 60 I think, which are the "big ones"- have a set of them as well but think too big for this bike...

  • I reckon the Horizons are as big as I'd go on a 650 gravel/all road. Anything bigger, and things will start to get too squirmy and sluggish.
I've just started using the Gravel Kings. Still finding that pressure sweet spot, but they have a similar feel to the G-ones. 350g to boot.

  • Ooooo, nice. I like that. Lots. If only I could work out how to make a steel frame with a dropped chainstay without spending enormous amounts on tooling.

  • Genesis has

  • I know. I suspect they won't sell me just a chainstay though.

  • THIS THIIIS!!!

  • Wheels randomly appeared today!

  • Does anyone have experience with the WTB Exposure for, well, any kind of riding? Trying to decide between that and the G-One for a majority road kind of ride. @eyebrows how do you find the G-Ones on tarmac?
