make/model? cheers

That last one is straight to anti don't pass go.
But I guess it's only there to illustrate the 650b point right?
Jeez, my eyes..

Putneys raddest gravel towpaths? Whats the fork like?
-
• #4258
Sure is.
Seems good, can’t comment much really. Takes the 700x42c tyre but no space for guards on top of that so smaller tyres to go on shortly. Quality seems good though -

26x2.4" = 650bx47 (both approx 685mm dia.)
-
• #4260
Do I need a new calculator?
26" = 559mm rim diameter.
2.4" = 61mm tyres
61+61+559=681mm
650b = 584mm rim diameter
47+47+584=678mmStill very close, but 685mm?

There are different ways to calculate it. Some people assume a circular tyre profile, others don't, etc.

Do love my Sherpa, especially with the slightly lower trail fork;

Can anyone make any budget frame bag suggestions for touring on a gravel bike? I've managed to jury rig a bar and saddle solution but can't see any obvious corners to cut with the frame.
Edit: just found the bikepacking thread - forget it.

Nope, your calculators' fine but you might want to verify against some real world measurements...

Blackburn one is surprisingly good for the money.

Is that the Surly front rack?

Curious about your trip, I spend 2 months a year in that part of the world and am moving to Presov next year.
Did you post anything on here about the trip, would be intersted to see where you got to, it's beautiful cycling country.

yeah, the Rodeo Labs Spork is made to carry shit liek that. I've been carrying cargo (groceries, bikepacking, clothes for my commute) for the past 14 months without an issue.

That is indeed a Pickenflick with a Rodeo Labs Spork, couldn't be happier with this combo. Ridden countless km's through 3 continents with it

I have a Topeak midloader. It's pretty basic and I wouldn't count on it to keep water out for long. But it's a pretty solid bit of kit.

Been loving this thing the past few weeks. Recommend.

Max and Poitr from Podia put a lot of time in scouting the area before the trip, and they are the ones with the knowledge.... I just followed them. The local knowledge of the area is part of the Podia Roadventures package.
Afraid I don’t have any routes!

I really wasn't a fan. I expected low resistance, but they felt really sluggish compared to pretty much any Schwalbe I tried.

Yup! Very overkill, might sell to get that surly front rack.
You've changed man.
