Haha, the dream of a beautiful ride to a station, then some coffee and work in a nice train, short ride to workplace in the city.
I know which part is the problem here in Germany. -
• #32132
That's an interesting combination of very clever product names...

After a weekend off to the Peak District, I feel a need a Salsa Cutthroat 😅 any review here? I would like discouraging opinions to avoid being broken (again).
-
• #32134
couple people I know who have them really like them.
one of which has done lots of off-road ultra stuff on theirs i believe
BUT to try and help your wallet; they are a bit ugly aren’t they

I ride with someone who has one, absolutely loves it for smashing around the south downs. might be worth bearing in mind that they no longer have a uk distro so support might be trickier. however it does mean that there are some deals to be had at the moment
-
• #32136
Isn’t keep pedalling (Manchester) their uk dealer?
-
• #32137
the woods is also a dealer - dealer =/= distro.
it was lyon outdoors, but theyve dropped salsa (and by default teravail) coz qbp weren't giving the intl markets much thought when it came to their product launch strategy etc (as I understand it)
-
• #32138
Parallel to that, Lyon are selling Teravail tires at like 50% discount atm. Get in!
Sadly no durable casing, all light and fast, but worth it anyway for the price. -
• #32139
Why did you have to say that! :)
-
• #32140
What size do you ride? I just noticed this has been posted a couple of hours ago: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/399751/#comment17533464

More likely I am a 54 but thanks for the tip!
-
• #32143
I had to transfer my FOMO guilt at not buying them to someone else!! 🙃
-
• #32144
Was going to get one to replace my Stayer.
But then thought do I really need carbon, so have upgraded and still in the process of upgrading. Plus they seemed a little heavy for carbon too

True. not a feather :(

Before I undertake the arduous journey into the bedroom to look for mounts, has anyone run mudguards on their Crux? Spesh ones? I presume if there are any mounts they'll be those hidden ones for Spesh specific guards?

this is the gravel bike thread

mudguards
Welcome on the right side of history.
-
• #32149
Why are you here then Trekboy?
You know gravel bikes are versatile. This is for road riding with my missus. Don't want to get her Captain Kirk jersey dirty, do I?

Mudguards are the prostate test of the bike world.
Nice, perfect all rounder it seems.
I haven't seen a 55 crockett frameset for sale recently
