I've used one of those VCLS split posts on my Mason for road ultras for a while.
Do you set it up nose-down so as to compensate for the backwards lean when loaded?

Checkpoint is a road bike.

Good to see you've been paying attention in the back...

Don't think so. It probably is a bit nose-down by default, but that's because I use Adamo saddles on it and they're designed that way. It doesn't compress too much under normal loading (inb4 hippyisfat) so I didn't do anything different IIRC.

Mason ISO and be done with it.

you can hook up road shifters to an Eagle AXS rear mech, but you want 2x right?
-
• #28583
I have two mountain bikes already.
-
• #28584
I have a 2x gravel P2M powermeter I'd like to use, yeah.
-
• #28585
I can save you money by telling you now that your power will be below what you hoped for.
-
• #28586
Checkpoint does legitimately work for you I think. 45mm clearance and on the road end of geometry.

This thread needs more merge

You jest, but my power numbers have been steady (shit) for the last 10+ years.
-
• #28589
I'd have to put up with all the "oi oi Lance" shit though. Not sure I could cope.
-
• #28590
then you need to stop hanging out with other Aussies
-
• #28591
I don't hang out with anyone.
Actually, that's not true. Two Polish, an American and an Aussie walk into a bar...

They’re saying it base on feedback with the “pro” gravel riders that did not like Di2 for gravel races
-
• #28593
Honestly, the Checkpoint been an impressive bike, even if it’s fully internally routed
-
• #28595
Easy peasy. Epic Bleed Solutions are your friend. Do it!

Went to Hub Velo/Cinelli thing yesterday. Nemo looked nice, as you'd hope for £5,500. Suspension kinda worked.

The grrl's bike is now running 700x47 Terravail Cannonball (I think). My first forray, well hers, into their tyres. Came up bang on 47 so a couple of mm larger than the 45mm (44mm actual) WTB Raddler removed from it. Kinda similar tread but the tyre is actually round and not square like the Raddler. Cool story bro.

out of interest whats the internal rim width? My 700x47 rutlands came up at 45mm on 25mm internal which was a bit annoying. good tyres though

They're the stock wheels off a Sequoia.
"The SAG Hayfield wheelset has 30mm-wide box section rims and barrel-like hubs, fitted with Specialized’s Sawtooth 42mm tyres, that measure 45mm."
https://www.bikeradar.com/reviews/bikes/gravel-bikes/specialized-sequoia-elite-review/I can't find internal spec.
My LBS friend said Terravails always come up smaller. I don't know if they've made them more accurate or these rims are wider than expected.

You did a good job hiding that suspension thing.
Yeah and you haven't even recommended a Checkpoint yet. For shame
