I found the pickenflick rides nicer with 650b on larger size tyres. I would run a byway on the back and something like a crossmark on the front if it's muddy. I got a cheap pair of superstar wheels, novatec with crest rims which are nice and light.

Generally speaking, will 2.0 treaded tyre like Crossmark, X-King or Saguaro fit in the back?
-
• #2504
Not in the back, but I fitted a crossmark 2.0 in the front for summer cross. If it's very muddy I found a narrow 33mm cuts through the mud better anyway. Not sure what 650 mtb mud tyres are available - tend to be narrower than 2.0

The reality of the British gravel 'scene'.
Love it.

Ooh.

Yeah, I really don't have anything to say, just wanted to post some new pictures of my Trek Crockett gravel/winter/cx/commuter-bike. I quite like it.

The Pro logos come off easy with nail polish remover or acetone. I did mine today. Unless you like them, in which case ignore me.

So far I only found Crossmark in 1.95 or 2.10 sizes, which one did you actually have if you remember?

Extra long axle pedals?

The logos don't bother me that much as the components are matching, but there are quite a few logos. Maybe someday I'll get around removing at least some of them, good to know that nail polish remover works.

Gorilla Monsoon
Hotness. If their Cosmic Stallion had that paint, I could look past the post-mount brakes..

Thanks, if you could also measure roughly how much clearance Pickenflick has in the rear for 650b wheels it would be great. I am asking all these questions because if non-slick 2.0 don't fit then probably I will go with a more standard approach of 40c Nano.

Analog?

love this thing! Specs are all bang on. 44mm head tube and a 400mm AC mean easy carbon upgrade. Ideal

What do you mean? I don't follow.
My Sequoia, upgraded to full thomson Finishing after this photo. Just need new (lighter) wheels.
Going to do the Sunday Echapee rides on it and Dirty Riever. The problem with UK is its 50/50 if you ride is 'gravel' or 'CX'. Sometimes it just depens what bike you turn up on and if its been raining lately.
