Monster clearances. Is the fork drilled to take a guard?
-
• #22428
If you mean my bike then no, the fork has not got eyelets for a traditional guard. I've got a mudhugger mtb guard for it. Used it on a similar fork last winter. Pretty effective at keeping the worst of the crud at bay.
Frame and fork takes my 650x3.0 plus mtb wheels/tyres too. Clearance on the fork is indeed huge.

Fat slicks I bought from you. I had no part in skinny knobs.

Surprisingly everyone around here rides those roads with MTBs only.. What's your take on it?
I guess there are also some spicy single tracks linking them, where my 35c clad cx was wildly underbiked, that would justify a MTB, but totally not required in the sections pictured above.

That is here:
Parco Naturale Miniere di Formignano
https://goo.gl/maps/B8MRpYju4C76wyS18A generally unassuming and overlooked part of Italy, but for reference these are the hills where Pantani grew up.

With views like that, I might not care what type of bike I was riding :-)
Seeing as my default setting is 'explore all the small tracks' I'd probably go for the fatter tyred option. No sus though

Fair point. Although I suspect people around here are less impressed with the views.. The grass is always greener and all of that

Stop wasting time posting this shit and get back to work on your GCN+ application!

Look like they're already one better than GCN as despite no captioning, there appear to not have any talking in it.
GCN are horrifically inaccessible and not inclusive.
Didn’t relist in the end. If I do move it on I will let you know.
