Correct; thankfully never. And all of my bikes are insured.
I get it, bikes are tools for you. I'm not saying to buy the fancy thing because it's fancy, I'm saying if it builds desire to ride, then that's a good enough reason.
Shiny doesn't have to mean delicate. My AC Macho Man is steel and four years old. I've thrashed the shit out of it in that time, it still has a wicked -subtle- paint job (nowhere near pristine) and some nice looking (well priced) parts. I'm not saying it's pr0n but I like how it looks and it makes me want to go skid through some mud, fuck around in the woods and do adventures.

I save a fortune on SPOT tracking.

Don’t have outdoor plug sockets and the Dyson wouldn’t pull the skin off custard

That is a fantastic looking bike! How tall are you?

This is what I did, insured my carbon diverge so I can commute on trails everyday. If I crash it, I’ll claim and get a new one in 2027 when they come back in stock.

Buy the Stigmata and worry not!
I’m buying a stigmata frameset imminently from @solarider.
Buy one and we can start an owners club thread. -

almost minus the lifetime warranty and crash replacement policy.

Cheap bike but ride loads = respect
Super expensive carbon melt to faff about in a cycleway 2 times a month = mug -

wow I was in an extremely similar situation! To pull out dyno cables on Talbot.
internet high five

Rob I recognise your name from a comment you made on the STW for sale thread that I bought reserve wheels from.
Can’t wait to faff about in a cycleway once a month on them. -

I remember those... he never did answer my questions about them 😎
Seemed a really good price mind

Ha! I pm'd him the moment the ad went up and paid that morning, so he maybe just couldn't be bothered.
700c, xdr and i9 hubs to answer your questions! Warranty has been registered but the seller turned out to be quite a nice chap and said he'll sort any warranty issue if required. -

Nice. I was hovering over the button for these, seemed good value but my current tyres just won't die. This has made me want them again. Post up what you think after some rides?

Super expensive carbon melt to ride loads?
Connoisseur. Just do it, it's a super nice bike, light, rides great, no gimmicks.

Thanks. I'm 6"1 very slightly on the leggy side. Have considered whether I could have gotten away with a 55cm but we'll never know; my only real gripe about this bike being the size of the HT.

All of my bikes look great on Instagram and all get ridden-ish. Just sayin'

Post up what you think after some rides?
Will do. They'll probably mostly see small muddy lanes, with the occasional woodland path and farm track

Anyone ridden a Sonder Camino? Looking for a cheap frameset and it seems to fit the bill

I literally thought you said “skiers” as the cloud look like a skier couching down.
