You don't understand. Installing drop bars and removing the suspension is what creates the totally new genre.

Ash cycling is looking less appealing here

I've actually got a gravel bike now, with tyres that have actual tread.
It feels like cheating! -

Put on some Byway in 44c and felt surprisingly fast.

• #18963
I know, can only imagine what you're capable of now!
BTW, went to Epping this morning, it's actually really dry and just greasy on some of the most hidden single tracks, you'll definitely be fine and in for a good ride today! -

The micro shift ain’t bad, probably sturdier than the shimano ones, nice click. Half the price.

• #18965
road? I can only see MX and doesnt list which pull!

• #18966
what chain is that?
-
• #18967
I'm following the route we took, so looking forward to it.
-
• #18968
SRAM eagle 12 speed.
-
• #18969
naughty! Sram doesent allow any other chain than that flattop one on axs stuff right?
-
• #18970
Actually come equipped with full Eagle drivetrain (10-50t)
I don't know whether that chainring is actually design for flat-top chain come to think of it.
-
• #18971
ah! clever from Trek, the mix and match of AXS ecosystem is quite good
-
• #18972
Mullet AXS doesn't require a flattop chain. 10-50 Eagle cassette from their MTB range uses standard 12 speed
-
• #18973
Anyone tried the flat top chain on 11 speed yet?
We know manufacturer "compatibility" isn't always true and it looks kinda cool -
• #18974
The flattop chain is the worst part of those groupsets (haven't tried their front mechs however) so wouldn't bother.

Anyone tried the flat top chain on 11 speed yet?
Don't.
The spacing is really that obvious, it feel like the chain is way past 0.75 worn, it will come off almost straight away.
I think you should convert this thread into NFT
I thought about doing that with DBAD but too much effort
