Took my Orro Terra C for its first proper ride yesterday.
It's got all the mod cons - thru axles, flat mount brakes, 42mm tyre clearance, removable front mech hanger etc. It also has some very tidy cabling and the frame (which is reinforced with something called Sigmatex Innegra on on the insides of the chainstays and fork blades to reduce vibration and strengthen these areas) weighs 1060g.
It was £1400 for F&F or £1800 for a whole bike with 105, Spyres, Fulcrum wheels and 3T finishing kit, so the whole bike was a no brainer and I've transferred my own bits across. That's what you get for buying a bike from i-ride's in house brand.
I need to ride it more but it's been a blast so far - feels fast, light and soaks up the bumps very well.

I need to ride it more

Should be able to make that unless I've forgotten something.
Hopefully with a faster bike and a bit more practice I won't slow you down as much ;)

Thats what Open UP is, anyway running etap HRD 1x is a bad idea.

Looks awesome. How was tubeless?

Ta. Still haven't done it! I ran out of time Saturday and it was so sunny yesterday :)
Tomorrow night!

why would running eTap 1X be a bad idea?
-

chain drop, not enough spring tension in RD to retain the chain, my experience wasnt with etap but with 6870 and a narrow wide ring, I also did the spring tension hack that you can do with shimano RDs and this was all bumpy road .. you really need a clutched mech to run 1x

lol no. user error.
funnily enough I was riding a 1X etap bike around between posting that comment and your response. I've ridden 6870 1X too. You just need to run a tighter chain, which electronic groups and especially eTap prefer anyway. It's fine.

Yeah I ran a tighter chain too .. possibly 2 links shorter than what shimano says so the cage was wayyyy forward on the lowest gear, almost horizontal.
Maybe because my B tension was all the way done .. I was using 11-36 in mid cage (that officially supports 32t largest cog) and the drops would happen in the higher gear always so the 11t and 12t. Just sold the mech and got XT. No chain slap and sharper shifting.

Look forward to hearing more about how this rides? Was all set on getting a Spesh Diverge, but just saw this on the Orro website, with the newer Ultegra £100 less that the 105 specced Spesh and comes colour correct for me.

Bollocks to that. Used to run 1x 6870 off road and not dropped a chain once. Also just built a 1x etap for a customer for CX and first thing he did was ride it down some stairs as shakedown. Guess what didn't happen?
