You have canals, right? Towpath trundling doesn't really sound as exciting though...

Seems to be a rise in gnar-vel events...
Charlie's announced his events this year: http://www.charliethebikemonger.com/events-308-c.asp
Gravel-euduro hybrid also appeared a few weeks ago http://gravety.co.uk/
Dirty Reiver's opened up a few more spaces, think these are probably taken... http://dirtyreiver.co.uk/
Have a GPX somewhere too for the Wildcat gravel event that didn't happen a couple of years back, it's based around the trails in Tywi Forrest in Wales...

Where do people in London do all this 'road riding'?

Anyone know of a women's bike that fits into this category? i.e. something that fits 32c + guards, small frame sizes, discs?

Kenesis crosslight pro6
But it's a cross bike
Do Mason do a small frame? Might be worth a punt

It's like a 1990s cyclocross headshok
pretry rare to find one in good shape now
You could approximate one with a custom frame and one of the headshok MTB forks

Last weekend the roads near Sevenoaks were so rutted that it felt like I was riding off-road...

So Giro are having a "grinduro" Event in Wales this year. No info about it on the site but they have hinted it on insta and I found this https://www.instagram.com/p/BCYj0LUvP_4/?tagged=grinduro

Lovely that. Any idea on the Seatpost? Building a bike for a customer at the moment and he wants a Ti post.

An old style Moots Cinch, apparently. Certainly nothing like the newer version.

That Kona is well yummy.

This is cracking.

I've heard nothing but good about Niner, love one of their frames one day
-
• #145
Cheers. Went a different way. Niner was always going to be a compromise size wise, I'm inbetween on their sizing. Got summat a lot cheaper, and now saving up for a custom frame.

I'd probably wait for flat mount 12mm tru axle enve fork + custom ti triton if I was in the market to upgrade my orlo and get a "frame for life"
-
• #147
Do that and sell me your Orlo. So much want

I'm having an allroad kind of bike built, and I'm trying to figure out the hub/fork/dropout choices. I was thinking PolyDrops on the rear with 12mm thru-axle. Forkwise I've looked at TRP, Whisky and Enve with a 12 or 15mm thru-axle and then Hope hubs (or Chris King, if I can find a nice deal on a rear that matches one of my fronts...)
Any other options I should consider? -
