Why not ask Genesis too if their frames have a problem with the materials or just distribution/production?. Although I couldn't get them to answer any emails about frame weights last year... but haven't tried the facebook message option (with Kinesis was the fastest and most efficient way)

The Rose is less. Don't know whether to trust the reviewer on ride quality. He might be Mason based. Tour had it level with the Synapse.
