Then.. I got a bit carried away. All the sudden, I wanted it to get as many titanium parts as possible, and AVT had one of this left on discount, so I just had to:

oofffff.
never seen anything like that one.
must have cost a fortune. -

headset pressed in, dug out the cinelli grammo from the storage.

Recently picked up this for around 360 Pounds,
c-record wheelset, crankset and lucky enough, it had record titanium seatpost. so, this had to be done. -

hi, thanks!
actually, it's about the same price as a decent NJS frame. I guess as long as frames don't get onto ebay, most sellers are still pretty nice and fair..

Here is what it looks like FOR NOW:
c-record crankset, c-record pedals, shamals, cinelli milano drops all fitted.
Still waiting on the TI seatpost clamp, and TI chainring bolts. Also, might swap the shamals to a pair of campagnolo pistas, to offset the excess amount of silver, those black wheels might make the build a bit more balanced on the eyes.
Will post better photos once the whole thing is completed.

I love this. Its so nice.
not to worry about the paint job
I really quite like the paint job, at least what's actually there.

Drool.
Cool that you made a page. I really love the frame, but I'm probably biased because of my own Panasonic. The fade at the bottom bracket is a nice detail.
I don't really like Grammos on skinny steel tubes, but it really suits the oversized tubes of this frame.
Is the frame NJS stamped? Wonder how it would look with some nice Japanse stuff on it. Anyway great bike.

stunning job you got there

That's just beautiful. Love the paintjob and matching forks on this, fresh! I would never touch that to be honest, it really makes the frame something special.
Great build :) a blue flite would look mint too.

2 types of blue would drive me barmy, surely a black flite?
( not that anyone cares once you're on it ) -
• #14
Pretty sure there are Flites out there that will match this shade (looks close to GIOS blue)
-
• #15
Is the frame NJS stamped?
Probably not
-

Thanks!
I love your Panasonic, so clean!
It is not NJS stamped. Not sure if titanium is even allowed under NJS.
I thought about putting all NJS puts on it, but at the end, I want this to be different to my 3Rensho.

• #17
Thanks! Don't worry, I'll leave the paint job alone!
It's not quite finished yet, a flite with titanium rail will be ideal

Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion. I am waiting on a black flite with titanium rails.

There are, I have one :) and with the yellow and white logo, it would pick up perfectly with the frame detail.
This is pretty damn cool, I'd almost be tempted to finally let it go, for a home like this...

Thanks. Yeah, didn't think it was NJS. Love your 3Rensho too by the way.
These are some tasty Flite saddles:

I don't think you can buy one though. If I could get my hands on one of these though...
@b'jammin: That definitely needs a black Flite. Sell it to @nzkiddo! Or to me if he doesn't want it :D

^ I was really saving it for my future panasonic, though I think you have it and can't see that changing ;)
stripped flite here could become any colour you like with a bit of time/skill, or money to get it covered. I have an old Flite with cracked shell that you could use for a pattern template?
-
• #23
The Flite on mine is actually reupholstered haha. And to be frank I probably don't need another saddle. Those OG Flites though. But I should probably stop polluting @nzkiddo's thread with saddle talk!

Thanks for liking this bike, and posting in the bikeporn page. As requested, a brief work-in-progress details.
I've been wanting a frame which I can just thrash around, not to worry about the paint job, so when my friend found this one for me, I just took it.
The frame used to belong to a Chinese cyclist, Jiang Cui Hua. She's famous for competing in the track time trial at the 2000 Summer Olympics where she won a bronze medal. She's also infamous for crashing into Jennie Reed during the 2004 UCI Track Cycling World Championships (which was held in Melbourne) http://www.usacycling.org/reed-advances-in-womens-sprint.htm
That's her, one mean looking lady...
This frame is nothing much to look at, however, it is full titanium (except the fork, which is carbon + steel steerer).
