Proper bullhorns

Jesus they're big. Looks ace.
I presume you are never going to chop them down?

I wait for the second pair with twin logos on sides so that logo isn't under the clamp so I could that one but knowing the price probably not. Depends mainly on how much this is actually used in the end etc. Looks so attacking atm though and quite frankly I like those as is. I try to get pics with wheels today!

will you ride that bike on the streets with these handlebar???
-

They dont look that far off the position of a 110mm 2a stem and cinelli la84s would give tbh. Maybe a lil bit more reach. They do look massive though in the photos. V good find

whooaaa! Frame looks so small now :)

I did a bit of research and think the bars you have might be for the frames that have the double clamp basically on the fork crown? the shape of the bar compensates the closeness of the clamp.
The shape on the above bars seem to have less reach as the stem is further out. Kinda make sense?

• #62
Hard to tell but I think they're the same bar (or at least similar) with chopped ends same way LA84s come with the extra gawdy length. I reckon chopped and tilted up will have them looking just right.

Frame is so small so it's good to have tge added reach! :)

Looooonnnnng ;] Looks odd. Are you sure these handlebars are original?
-
• #66
Is the 2a a sloping trackstem? I was thinking much the same regarding the position. LA84's or more modern Cinelli Tempo's would give much the same position, with, I imagine, a lot less flex between hand position and stem clamp. A lot easier to handle, too.
Buta fun project, noetheless. Keep up the good work! -

I'm not sure about the originality of the bars but please let me know what the original bars are and where to get ;) I think that stem+bars would probably flex more as the mount in this is steel and much wider thus stiffer but do not know about the bars. The bike is a pursuit so driven in constant speed in aero position so max stiffness is not that important + this really is not to bee driven much :D

Yeah its the steeper version of the cinelli 1a designed for track.

Theres more if you search, takhion, sanino rossin pursuit bars on google. Im sure there is at least 3 dif versions of the bar now looking more into it

They may be slightly off but considering any if these bars are like hens teeth they're a good choice.
Personally if you just leveled them a tad they would be absolutely fine.
If you want to you could even cut them (they must be designed to be cut down to preferences. Loads of other bars do that).Even if they are slightly more flexy they're much more aero.

Firstly, I love your build and have been following with interest
I've held off commenting for as long as I couldI'm no expert but, those bars would seem to be for short stem attachments like the Takhion hinged double-clamp
Longer stem types such as your Rossin would more likely have been fitted with shorter reach barsThere a number of styles of handlebar for fork-mount stems...I have seen maybe four or five at least
The type of bar depends on the length and angle of the stem off the crownMy bike has a medium length but, shallow angle stem and I had to have the bars custom made to suit the look I was wanting. They are modelled on the bars on this Textima...(this is not my bike)
Think hard before you cut them
Even if you snip the ends the reach will still be the same but, if you decide you no longer want them or if you find something more suitable the bars will not be worth as much
Those bars you have can fetch good money to collectors, even more if unmolested -

the bar you've acquired isn't for this bike.
with this Rossin, there are 2 bars you can get. Both from 3T. One is the longer version of the Moscow. And the other one has more of a rounded angle, found on Takhion pursuits.
The problem is, usually more people cut down those 3T bars to suit their riding positions, that's why all the bars you can find on goggle looks different.
There are a few bikes out there which requires bars other than the 3T bars, such bikes usually use some vintage Nitto pursuit bars.
But hey, as long as it suits your riding position, you can use any bars you like, it's your bike after all. -

Okay, good point! I'll look into that. My only info about the bars was the spec sheet I attached in some page that stadet the bars being moscow. Do you have any sourcea for these other 3TTT bars (pics) that actually states that the bars is 3t. Takhion bars seema to be missing the 3t markings and textima has it's own bars.
If I find the right bars these will be up for grabs

I wish I have the round ones, I like those ones better.
I don't know what to show you except the markings on my own moscows.
The bar on the bike came with the frame from its original rider.
right side it says 3TTT
left side it says Moscow
this is what it looks like on the bike, as you can see, it's chopped down by it's rider before.
and that's the original length compared to the chopped down one on the bike.Hope this helps

That actually clarifies the situation a little :)

Pretty badass room you've got going on there
42cm c-c, seems bigger than it actually is
