Double post sorry**

I have that exact fork sitting unused. Could sell it if anyone's after one. It's the same as the Brother one (V1)

Yeah I 'think' it might be, looks identical and measures up the same

Hmmm…
Not bothered about weight, but like the triple mounts and the look…
How much are you thinking? (Posted)

Maybe like £90 posted or something? Cost me £170 originally

Thanks for that, but I’ve been reminded why Liz bought me the MS, to carry the bags on our next bike tour (so she doesn’t have to) and as she said you can’t put the pizza rack and that bloody great bag and panniers on a carbon fork!!! So sorry, but a good price.

The latest evolution of my Disc Trucker from 2012 ish, bought as a F&F from Brixton Cycles.
GRX 1x11 (very happy with the gearing, shifting and general simplicity with that).
SON28 / Edelux.
Salsa Cowbell 3, Thomson stem, CK BB and headset carried over from previous set-up.
Through-axle fork from the current model.
I have 38 GravelKings on it - not sure about them now as I have read mixed reports since buying them, but so far so good.Still pondering the luggage options.
I don’t want a rear rack this time. And I’d prefer to keep the front light where it is, which excludes a porteur style front rack and most bar bags.
I have a set of Salsa Down Under low riders, which I can put to use if I ever want to use panniers.
But for smaller, commute type loads I’m thinking about a Carradice Super C SQR - but would it clear that rear light? Would prefer something from this century though - suggestions appreciated!

Tidy.
How about a frame bag? (If you don't want to move your lights). -
• #2337
What jontea said.
I have a blackburn framebag on my commuter for tools, spare tube and pump. It expands if I ever need to carry something larger.Bike looks ace btw!

Thanks both!
Trickiest bit of putting it together was the dynamo wiring really, once the rear brake was sorted. Schmidt seem very keen on crimping vs soldering, yet make these coaxial plugs that need soldered. SJS did very well out of me.
Yeah, I've been looking at frame bags. Surly / Revelate look good but too spendy. What about knee rub on them, is that an issue? -

This is really nice!!
The sort of thing I'm looking for really!

Agu makes some decently priced bags - don't know about the build quality though.
I've never had a problem with knee rub. -

Thanks Josh.
Looks OK MisterMikkel, cheers.
While a frame bag will be more than adequate for most of my riding about, for work I need to take a lunch box, hence the prolonged dithering on this one.Getting back to the bike, when I first put those tyres on, I did so tubeless - both seated fine with CO2 blasts (too easy maybe?) and stayed up without sealant for a few hours.
Chickened out, but does that bode well for a first go with tubeless? -

They look good, thanks. Will have a measure up later, I'm unsure if this will clear the light:
You're recommended to have at least 220mm from the underside of your
bars to the top of your tyre. -

Might be a bit overkill but I just use my Topeak Backloader (10L I believe) for everything, including my commute. I have a 3L frame bag similar to the one posted above but it is not large enough to pack a food container + snacks and fruit.

A very handsome machine - good on yer.
What weight is it now after fitting the latest kit?
I know weight shouldn't really define a bike but my old crosscheck came in at
a portly 26lbs! -

Decided not to go the frame bag route for this bike, although will be getting one for the gravel bike when it eventually arrives.
I reckon a Trucker is more suited to a rack / seat pack / saddle bag (or something like the Backloaded, cheers Zebra).
Bar bag isn’t going to work with the light at the crown, and I’ve concluded that they are only good for light stuff like a rolled up jacket or sleeping bag etc. otherwise there is too much contact with the hoses / cable. Thanks Greytyke! Don’t know the weight, will try and get it somehow on my floor scales out of curiosity. The Trucker frame on its own doesn’t feel as heavy as might be expected, even in a size 58. Fork is heavy though. I hoik it up and down stairs quite a lot and the weight feels roughly similar to my Brompton.
Lovely to ride over shit surfaces as it is but can’t help thinking it would be even nicer tubeless some day.
Edited to add: 12.65kg, for the record.

Looks really good! What are those bottle cages? I like the little splash of colour they add, getting slight retro MTB vibes from them.

They're old elite cages I found on eBay!
