  • well ive emailed the two closet places both are around 1 hour away and neither seem to want to reply to my emails about if they have a 50 in stock . Going to call them to day if I don't get a reply .

has she got a fair amount of seatpost ? I'm looking to fit a saddle bag so worried about not having enough to fit the bag .

  • There's about 12cm of seatpost, saddle is quite tall though, maybe another 5cm or so on top of that.

She's got a Carradice Nelson longflap on the back at the moment, with the quick release bracket on the saddle rails and the bag resting on a rear rack it seems to work fine. Probably room for a smaller bikepacking style bag, more-so if the saddle wasn't as tall.

  • 185 miles like this the weekend past, My Restrap saddlebag finally arrived too.

pretty much adventure ready, now who will swap me for a Krampus? ha!

  • Latest ride.

  • Saw this a couple of days ago,

  • Very nice and clean build. I may have opted for a different chainring but what ever floats ur boat. Are those paselas 35 or 38?

  • Cheers. Wanted a ricer chainring and the AARN rings were sold out, so the Lattice will suffice for now.

They're 35c. Store I ordered them from didn't have 38c unfortunately. Still plenty plush.

  • This is currently living with my parents, but I got a chance to ride it recently and remembered how much I love it. Fairly vanilla build and bloody heavy but still great fun.

Thinking of maybe a yellow powder-coat for this winter.

  • Went out for a bit of a shake down this morning. Pretty much all good; rotating the bars up has got the shifters out the way of my knees but I'm thinking of changing to dt. I can't remember why I was so against dt shifters when I got the bits for this. Other than that, the stonglight crank is a bit flexy so chain ring rubs the front mech when out of the saddle. Not a big problem, however I've got a DA road crank so I might put that on. Shame the BCD is different so will need new rings...

  • so my LHT is ordered and on the way ! but what front pannier racks fit well? I know it will have to be low mount and the surly front rack is a little out of budget, so what else fits ?

  • Re Jijjzed the Straggler the other day as my do it all bike. Mudguards etc. De stickered the frame and took all the screenprinted logos off some Pro Lite wheels too. Really happy with how she turned out!

  • Anyone looking for a 400mile old straggler with some extras for £1000?

  • What size is it? Might know someone who is interested. @mk1mark

  • It's a 54cm

    Thanks!

  • If you split, I'd love to get a hold of that rack!

  • @mk1mark soz - she needs a 52.

  • More pics & explanations in CP

  • Perfect, love it !

  • Solid looking build, Is that fixed with flats though?

  • freewheel :)

  • Not sure front disc only is the best stopping method?

  • Better than rear disc only...

  • Works fine for polo.

  • Just be careful en it, i wouldn't trust it in traffic

  • I'll probably put a fixed cog and some straps in the future.
