Yeah mate, just trying to get through it psychologically this time (physical isn’t the thing that takes time, usually).
Only way to deal with it is to get back on the bike and ease my way back into it!

Thanks that would be awesome, i'll be in touch.

Brief update. I’m back riding again (gravel on the Ritchey at the moment).
Despite the hood shape, I have gone eTap HRD and paired it with Quarq PM and SRAM ‘BlastBlack’ rings. Also, Ti King Cages are on the way.
I had some Brevet bar tape to try already, so that’ll go on there when overhauled, too.
New back tyre (Schwalbe Pro On tubeless) will go onto the newly rebuilt rear wheel (previous carbon rim was toast, so had to be replaced).
Lastly, I didn’t go Enve for the replacement handlebars (cracked). Instead, I went with Easton E100 as they’re lighter, cheaper and have roughly the same reach and drop.

What’s the ritchey look like these days?
-
• #206
Pretty much the same as before, but I’m considering getting some more rugged wheels built up for it.
The Zipps look kind of cool, but I should stop thrashing them over gravel!

Touchdown.
Parts are all here, now - should be fully stripped and rebuilt next week...

Cheers, mate.
Shall get some proper shots with my Sony. Feel like this bike has never really been photographed ‘properly’.

Dredge away and more often. You've built an utterly beautiful machine.

Cheers all, much appreciated.
It’s had less outings than usual due to becoming a dad and a hectic work schedule, but it’ll be given a workout over the Festive 500, I think.

Looks lovely. Festive 500 means they wont be tan wall for long....

I’ll probably curse it, but winter is very dry here. It barely rains at all.

Looks lovely. @xDOMx - I moved to New York recently and bumped into a guy on a Field. He rode past and said 'Nice Talbot!' Ended up chatting and he mentioned someone in Japan who rode a Field. 'Dom!?' I asked. 'Yes!' He said. Not gonna post his name publicly but I'm sure you know who I'm talking about.
Thanks man. Good to hear first hand experience from the forum hive mind.
