  • You're right, the original forks would have had curved fork blades, unicrown and with Celeste at the top. A bit too short in the steerer dept, there's little thread holding on the top nut of the headset. Have a 6400 on the way. Lower top stack than the Dura Ace cartridge one pictured. Thanks for the compliment.
    It's great to ride, now I've bent the gear hanger back straight, using a spare axle, old seatpost and a blowtorch.
    Mech was touching spokes in first gear before, now it's not! Champion!
