• I know I know, anti >>>>>> but it's the runaround bike, needed to get the covers home without carrying on my back.

This is the wrong rim choice, disc covers a little too small by maybe 2cm diameter for ma2's. Probably ideal on a dp18 size rim.

  • Absolutely not, I was curious how it looks with these covers, had a similar set tens of years ago on my bmx.

  • Taped the insides to spokes, to try get rid of the horrible plastic sound, and have gone around the edge-to-rim with tape. Currently a scrappy job until I get some nicer thin black electric tape, but it should do the job to the post office and back.

Not sure I'd recommend yet, but for jokes maybe. Still the cheapest option for a fake disc.

  • I'll be probably selling cheap this gipiemme or ambrosio on gipiemme hub disc soon if any one's interested... straight, bombproof for streets, ad sound great...

  • I may be interested pending price and funds.

  • Anyone interested in this?

Never ridden (valve hole isn't drilled yet) but has a lot of storage wear on the edges...

  • @BigH it's a 700c rear. Tubular and for gears.

  • Tempted, depending on price and what hub.

  • @pdlouche

It's a campagnolo record hub I believe. You can make me an offer by PM.

  • Ah no good for me then, all my kit is Shimano.

  • How much is a 26" ghibli in pretty good condition valued at nowadays? or how much would people be willing to pay for one?

  • 24" ghibli front went on ebay yesterday for 340 eur.

  • Link? Can't find it. My mate is after a 24" campag disc for his lo pro. Never actually seen one for sale

  • I can give out some prices of vintage disc wheels:

-Ghibli front 26, ones in good condition around 600euro, damaged ones like one here on forum cheaper, mint ones in 700ish

-Ghibli track rear, got one by trade, price around 800euro in good shape, mint nos ones probably closer to 1000

-Fluidisk front 700c pista: used in good condition around 400euro

-Fluidisk front 650c pista, in good shape these will run in 600ish euro

    -Fluidisk track rear, 500€

Campagnolo khamsin discs around 300ish euro per disc.

These prices are what I have sold these for outside ebay or what I can confirm. If you find cheaper, buying is an investment. Holes or deep scratches decreases the value!

  • its already sold.

  • Really annoyed I missed that... My ebay fu still needs work

  • Would have loved a 24" Ghibli also. A link to the sold eBay page would be interesting if you still have it.

    @josbanse What about a 700c front Ghibli then ;)?

  • 700c front ghibli I have no direct knowledge but I would put around same as track rear ghibli.

In case of ghibli wheel you must realize the original selling price plus the fact that ghiblis still use similar techique so the older ghiblis are good valued and good disc for track racing. Same goes with fluidisk though fluidisk was actually around 150euros in modern day cyrrency when those came but collecting pushes the price up

  • nice

  • Cheers, would have snatched that if I'd known. I'd have a full set of front ghiblis if I can find a 24".. one day eh

  • what a bargain ... would have taken this if I had seen it!
thank god I have one already ;)
