  • It's been sleeping on the balcony for most of winter, under a nice canvas tent thing. Will be coming out once the average temp at 7am is back above 14'c.

I've been commuting on the Serotta in the meantime, which I've absolutely fallen back in love with now that I changed all of the gearing for mountains... less of the big ring grind, more spin-to-win. So that's a joy, and for whatever reason I mentally think it's an old beater now, even though it did cost nearly £10k in total (once I'd upgraded the wheels).

Can't way to get back on the fixed though, but do want to preserve those hubs.

  • Attempting to revive this thread if only for a moment. First things first, the build is wonderful, I'd rubberneck the hell out of it if it were to glide past me in a Flava Flave-esque fashion.

Secondly, how in god's name did you get a brake on that fork. I've got the same 725 frameset, had the fork drilled, then realised a total lack of clearance, what's the secret? My new BLB black fork on it just makes me feel uneasy, please help
