Tredz - good or bad?

Fucking hell, Halfords has bought Tredz. Hope they improve reliability.

I really don't think they're unreliable, just slow. Personally I'm not sure this is good news - I reckon their prices will go up.

I got a set of Hope Pro 4 hubs for them recently for £180, way cheaper than anyone else and £25 cheaper than Wiggle.

A marriage made in hell.

Presumably they will rebrand the tredz website as cycle republic and try to flog pinarellos to MAMILs

Ordered item 10 days ago....said it was in stock.
2 days later got email saying it will be ready for despatch on 13th for delivery on 14th
and they charged my card immediately.
waited in all day for delivery....nothing....rang them..got answerphone.
and again today.....so far nothing.
I won't use again.

Or Cervelos to dentists architects...

I like Tredz, I mean, I wouldn't use them for anything urgent but can't fault them on being the cheapest around for many things.

They rang me about 5 times to update on the stock status of a hub that I don't need to fit for 2-3 months. Almost got annoying!

Made an order. Got the stuff. Two bags of haribo. Two!

Thought I'd try them for a non-urgent bracket.
A week after ordering, dispatched. Next day, sorry there's a delay dispatching tomorrow. Tredz is fun, you really are left in suspense about whether you will ever see your stuff.

Used them for the third time recently, just for a small cheap part, but for the third time in a row delivery was quick, plus free postage and bonus Haribo really sweeten the deal.

I just recently made an order from them this week. I made an order from velodromeshop and wiggle at the same time, both of which have arrived promptly. The tredz order has not arrived, it seems both items had to be ordered in before dispatch on the 2nd. To be fair to them it wasnt a very urgent order and the customer services team were helpful and upgraded my delivery to first class. They are nice and cheap but I wouldn't use if you want something delivered quickly.

My stuff turned up with three bags of haribo.

I ordered some stuff from them this week actually. Ordered Monday, despatched Wednesday, arrived Thursday.

The two things I ordered were £17 cheaper from Tredz than anywhere else, then I got £15 off in their sale for spending more than £75 or something. So they were £32 cheaper than their nearest competitor.

Can't confirm Haribo quantity yet as the order is with a neighbour right now.

I rate Tredz. Never had any issues over six small orders. Can't comment on bigger/rarer items though

I've had pretty poor communication from Tredz for my current order. When I made the order, I wasn't told one of the things wasn't in stock. A week later and I only know that's why the order is delayed as I've phoned them up several times - no emails, nothing. happy to wait for stuff, but I'd like to actually know my order hasn't just disappeared into the ether.

Do Tredz EVER have items in stock?! I've placed two orders now and both have taken 7+ days to be shipped. My most recent order was wrong too. What a useless bunch of fucknuggets

Wanted to make an order with Tredz and was hoping they would price match Sigma Sport. Emailed them last week with a query and they confirmed that it would be fine, and they will draw up an invoice. A good 5 days later I follow up to query the order and they say they are cancelling because Sigma Sport now have the item out of stock. Pretty shit if you ask me.

I think they main issue is stock. I ordered my bike whichd they had but no lights or helmet. A friend ordered from there and bike was sent 2 3 days so i did worry when i see no update - to be told no stock. Some items will be back in a month times pretty pointless
