Cheers TM. Rides really good, nice and nippy. First time using SRAM and I like the double tap. This is my first 853 frame and i'm amazed how light and stiff it feels.

Just seen this thread- I was bidding on this frame but you must have been the one who beat me!
Glad you did- you've made a wonderful job of it, it looks stunning! Plus it would have been too small for me, hope you enjoy riding it.

Oh really, small ebay world. Thanks very much hopefully it'll give me years of faithful service, one thing I noticed today though which could be an irritation is that it has no bottle cage bosses...

You know it's a proper race frame then! There's always hose pipe clips for the summer.
You might want to swap the spacers on the pads on the rear brake to bring the arms more towards 90 degrees with the rim. The pads should then hit the rim square on. Looks a little shallow at the moment.

Don't use rubber. It'll be rubbish. Your lbs should have those bits knocking about for pennies. They come with lots of new front mechs even if they're not needed.
