They work (with good pads installed), can be had relatively easily, don't break the bank, and they were made to a Grant Peterson spec, what's not to like?

Frame set and wheels have been collected today. Mario gave my pal Matt a tour of the Varonha state of the art production facility, Winston may get an order for a frame soon.

May have a pair of unused Panaracer Gravelking slicks, 650b x 48mm (1.9 inch), black/brown for sale soon. Think I'll go all black tyres, I got black/brown because I was gonna go with a different frame colour originally, but now think all black will go better with the pink frame.
