I've had a SOMEC frame in the shed for ages.

Today I found time to build it up.

Doesn't it bother you that your levers are so differently aligned?! Also your cables (inner and outer) seem way too long! Other than that lovely bike. That frame is amazing.

It does need a bit of a 'tweek'.

All of the parts, including the cables, were in my 'parts bin'. The only thing I had to go out and but was the bar tape, which was the cheapest thing I could find in Decathalon.

I will now mess about with it over the coming weeks.

The tyres, which seem very unpopular, came with the wheels, and I'm probably going to swap the wheels out anyway.

The lever incongruity could easily be an optical illusion. Wouldn't explain the brake cables though...
