  • For me, comfort on the bike comes first

You should feel very comfortable on an Eddy Merckx MX Leader, they were designed for the long haul, Century geometry and those fat MX tubes will make you almost fall asleep in the saddle.

  • Just slam it for photos then. Good looking frame.

  • lol, you're funny :)

  • Sure, I expect her to have the comfort only a good steel concoction provide, but still, MXL frames were made to be stiff, 'too stiff to handle' is the myth... I just hope she doesn't break under my weight and watts when pedalling out the saddle.

  • In due time, mate...

  • Maybe not actually porn material, but I like how it ended up.

  • Slam that stem

  • I feel its comfortable like this... I could slam it like 10 or 15mm but thats it.

In any case, the cockpit is stiff as it is, so...

  • As I said, not porn aesthetics I know, for photo opportunity suckers, but I couldn't fucking care less about it... to me it's great, I love the riding position.

Tubeset stiffness is amazing. Never ridden MAX or MXL before and I'm fucking amazed.
Why haven't I procured a frameset before!!! Fuck!

Sorry about so much fucking swearing.

  • 8,6Kg without bottles. Not bad.
Now I need some decent bottle cages, these birzman plastic ones are utter shit.

  • Oof that handlebar height... That doesn't do the overall look any good.

    You have backproblems?

  • Do ittt:

Comfort is overrated! But seriously, obviously put the bars at the height you need them to be.

  • ^ So much better I know!

But yes, I have some back problems occasionally, nothing really serious but can be shit on longer rides... anyway the stem will eventually need to go down some more, but not right now as I will have to cut hoses and route new cables and I'm not in the mood for that right now.

  • Ah right. Got to be carefull with that indeed. Wouldn't lower it any if it'd cause any damage/pain.
