Do you remember, a good few months back, maybe over a year ago, I was trying to find a photo of a ssmtb I'd seen? It had a really nice silver frame with Enve wheels with white logos and a white reverse arch Manitou fork? I think the bike had a race plate on too. I agonised over finding it, never did.
Well I'm almost certain that this Chumba that you posted a couple months back is the same frame at least. It feels good to almost scratch that itch.
#nevergiveupEdit - oof i searched back in the thread and it was actually 3 years ago. Not months or a single year. Three years. I wont let it go.

If it ain't one of these I think the image might be dead.

Dunno if I've ever posted my Schwinn in here as I wasn't sure it belonged when it had a coaster brake but I've given it a disc tab and freewheel now and built a new fork and stem for it and feel like it could go here.

It's none of them sadly. They were all mentioned the first time I tried to find it.
I'm pretty sure the image is dead. I clicked through every page of this thread and searched mtbr for hours. It's gone, but I won't let go of hope...I'm happy that I've sorta narrowed it down to a Chumba though. Really want a Sendero now.

You seem to have done more searching than I.

Maybe it was posted in a different thread like HHSMTB?

I've only been saving the bike photos for the past few years, so anything older has likely been lost to photobucket
I think your only solution here is to build the bike that you want to see

Wasn’t sure whether here or the gravel thread would be the better place to post this…so I’ll probably post it in both.
Was going to build it 1x10 as I was just swapping everything from my Honzo but the chain and gear cables were too short so I took it the world wanted me to ride ss.
Spacer stack will get tweaked and then a custom stem made, I’ll probably make at least a front rack, maybe a rear too.

Just got this together, it's ridable but I have a few tweaks to make. Don't know much about this frame but the Columbus tubing was the main reason I purchased it. I couldn't be bothered buying single speed cog spacers so printed them but only had pink filament, they work so probably just leave them. Will take a proper drive side pic when tweaked.

I have been lusting over a slight more modern ssmtb recently and this isn't helping the cause.

Lightweight titanium and carbon mtbs aren't really my thing, but I would like to try one

I’m in Wales atm which reminds me when I was stupid enough to ride the TransCambrian on this idiot SSMTB drop bar special. And no I couldn’t commit enough to shorten the chain so yes it was just a SS cog and spacer using the derailleur to tension.

I think in someone here had a 29er Cannondale single speed with the curved seat stays and eccentric bottom bracket. That’s always been my dream frame. Have been contemplating making the 1fg a 27.5 wheelset
@Hulsroy love those alpes flites, I’ve been going back to flites on most of my bikes
