Can’t abide by the seat stays and top tube not being a continual curve on them.

I would like to dedicate this bike to this thread.

I am thinking about getting a simple SSMTB for storage at my parents' home so I can have a ride while I visit them (really annoyed having nice weather this weekened here and nothing to ride :/ ). Do you think Vitus Dee I already own (brakes swapped to BB7, currently in commuting duties) could make it or should I look for some retro MTB with Cr-Mo frameset?

Thanks for noticing, but the size would be too small for me, also it seems to be vertical dropout one, so hassle with chain tension. Though that titanium... I already have Pickenflick as my main bike for pleasure rides (outside of commuting) and I love that material.

Beennrunning it Ss for a bunch of years.
Now fixed gear.

I've won a Hope Pro 2 singlespeed hub on ebay today, anyone got one? Wondering if I'm best using a wide based cog on it or if the freehub body will be ok with a normal flat cog?

I have a couple at home. Fat is best but IIRC they have steel bodies anyway so you'd probably be fine without.

Cool, found a wide one from Planet X who also had a tyre I needed at a good price so got that en route.

Basically a chainset and BB away from being the new version of the SS Pugsley I owned 15 years ago!

Single brake? (Interested in your setup, not judging).

That my friend would be because I fitted the grips, and only remembered afterwards that the brake levers don't have a split clamp!
I'll get around to removing the other grip eventually. :)

Ah I see. Was wondering if it was fixed or something.

It may still end up fixed.
